The company, recognized as a top start-up at the Inaugural MedFemTech Congress in Paris, was born of the commercial endeavor, Callaly, named one of TIME’s Invention of the Year in 2020. Lara was an active investor and clinical advisor to Callaly. In addition to her work leading Calla Lily Clinical Care, Lara is a medical educator at the Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom and is involved in trauma education and training at the international level.
