Material Change Institute Launches Third Fellowship Class to Continue to Bring Greater Equity to Investment

Material Change Institute is excited to announce the launch of Class III, a significant milestone in our mission to foster diversity and inclusivity in the investment industry. Building upon the success of our previous cohorts, Class III comprises a diverse group of talented individuals who bring unique perspectives and experiences to the table. We continue our commitment to providing a comprehensive and supportive program that empowers underrepresented investors. Class III fellows will learn from notable instructors and lecturers on the skills necessary to thrive in the investing landscape through mentorship opportunities and access to a network of industry professionals.

Founder Eve Blossom shared “I am so excited to welcome Material Change’s largest fellowship class yet. These 23 individuals bring with them different backgrounds and experiences to the table. We continue to establish a thriving community of fellows, investors, instructors, and partners who share the same vision to inclusivity and support underrepresented investors as they explore the many pathways into asset management.”

The program’s primary learning stream focuses on understanding the methods, mechanics and modes of start-up investing, supported by five main pillars: Leadership, Generative Communications, Business Strategy, Strategic Foresight and Mentorship/Internship. Material Change Institute has tapped into decades of expertise with over 60 angel investors, venture capitalists and subject matter experts to serve as Material Change Institute instructors and lecturers.

The Material Change Institute is home to industry visionaries, seasoned angel and venture capital investors, and experts from top universities. Under the mentorship of esteemed individuals at the helm of some of the most well-respected funds, instructors challenge participants to analyze opportunities, identify value, and apply their unique perspectives in investment management.

Aspiring individuals eager to make a difference in the investment industry are encouraged to apply now for Material Change Fellowship Class IV. The application process involves submitting an application, followed by an interview with the institute’s team. Upon acceptance, individuals will receive an acceptance letter and can embark on the program and start their journey as a Material Change Fellow.
